Chlorinated
polyethylene was made by high density polyethylene (HDPE) after
chlorination, due to the CPE molecules do not contain a double bond, so,
it has excellent weather resistance and excellent flame retardant
performance, mainly used as impact modifier for PVC products.
The
appearance is non toxic white powder, due to the hydrogen atoms are
replaced by chlorine atoms, damage to the crystallization of HDPE, make
its have the rubber property and becomes soft, because of the chlorine
atom, make CPE become polar polymer and same with PVC, increased the
intermiscibility of PVC, in addition mixed with PE, PS and rubber can
improve physical properties.

hose, adhesive tape, rubber sheet, pvc profile/pipe modifier, magnetic
materials, ABS modified. Etc.
